One-time login link expired

One-time login link expired

This article describes an expired one-time login link and the solution.

Updated over 10 months ago

If opening a one-time login link gives you an expired error message, you can reset your password by following this article to log in.

Alternatively, if you would like to use the login link method instead of the password method, you may need to contact your IT team. Please read this article for more details.

Some email providers, particularly Office365, have a built-in security feature called SafeLinks. This tool essentially renders all one-time links unusable. To enable the use of one-time login links, your IT team must whitelist the following Deskfound domains:

  • deskfound.com

  • app.deskfound.com

deskfound.com

app.deskfound.com

The whitelisting process involves adding the above URLs to your SafeLinks rewrite policy. Please follow the steps below and consult the official Microsoft documentation if you have any questions: Microsoft Safe Links Policy Configuration.

  1. Steps to Whitelist URLs in SafeLinks

    1. Open the SafeLinks Policy Center: SafeLinks Policy Center.

    2. Navigate to Threat management > Policy > ATP Safe Links in the Security & Compliance Center.

    3. Click Create on the Safe Links page.

    4. The New Safe Links Policy Wizard will open.

    Configure the following settings:

    • Name your policy:

      • Name: Enter a unique, descriptive name for the policy.
